The 'Reflection Series'
The 'Reflection Series' of paintings is an ongoing project of figurative works intending to convey the figure in a state of self reflection/introspection.
The viewer is invited to interpret, construe, spiritualise each work and then create their own story of the figurative composition.
The works are mixed media and include acrylic paint, charcoal and pastel. In some works there is the addition of glued paper added for further texture to the canvas.
Whilst the figure in each composition is the primary focus then the background acts in complimentary ambience.
